Serve Dinner to Women and Transgender Individuals in Need at The Delores Project w/Project Helping

The Delores Project provides a welcoming, low-barrier shelter and services for unaccompanied women and transgender individuals during times of homelessness. We believe that hospitality, respect, and regard for the dignity of each individual lay the groundwork for forming positive relationships leading to lasting change. WHAT WILL WE BE DOING? Project Helping volunteers will serve a hot, healthy dinner for 50-60 unaccompanied women and transgender individuals experiencing homelessness. Dinner is a prepared meal donated by another group (ie-Boy Scouts or a church group). The Project Helping volunteers will re-heat the main/side dishes, prepare the salad/dessert, prepare the dining room for dinner, then serve dinner to the guests at the Delores Project.  As space is limited, make sure to register before participating in this great event!  FAQs Why Volunteer?
