"Precipitous Waste:" Heather Fortin Rubald, Bricolage Gallery, Boulder

Loveland artist Heather Fortin Rublad has spent the last several years creating with - and educating viewers about -- single-use plastic bags. From colorful art installations giant enough to swallow entire walls, to bright organic forms created with the antithesis of organic, Heather's art commands our attention with dichotomies. Textured, fragile, and in-your-face bold, these conceptual, decorative, and functional artworks compel us to view the ubiquitous plastic bag in unexpected ways, and inspire us with ideas that re-interpret and re-imagine our love/hate relationship with plastic bags. You've never seen Bricolage Gallery like this!
